The renowned Argentine winemaker, a benchmark in the wine world, visited Cousiño Macul and highlighted the label, which combines the winery's finest selection of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah.

Argentine winemaker and journalist Joaquín Hidalgo, a renowned wine critic, visited Cousiño Macul to taste various wines from the winery for the international publication Vinous. In his recent article, "Maule: The Magic of Old Vines and a Stylistic Reinvention in Chile ," he highlighted the solidity and consistency of the wines from Maipo and awarded the winery important recognitions.

Among them, the Finis Terrae Red Blend 2018 obtained 94 points , consolidating itself as one of the most refined blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah from Alto Maipo, with a structure that combines aromatic depth and tannins of great finesse.

According to the expert, the 2018 Finis Terrae "is dry and refined on the palate, with a smooth yet energetic flow. The tannins are fine and juicy. It is well-crafted and offers high-end nuances with a nod to classic Chilean reds," he noted.
