    Don Matías - Merlot

    Don Matías Gran Reserva Merlot is a pure and elegant wine. Its recognized quality comes from the fine selection of the plants used in our vineyards until the final bottling. Its management in the field is similar to that of the Antiguas Reservas line, only differing in a somewhat higher yield per hectare and an earlier harvest, seeking a wine that represents the fruity characteristics of aromas and flavors of the variety.

    Due to its complex but subtle characteristics, this wine is perfect to accompany pastas, such as gnocchi bolognese. It is also ideal for medium intensity meats, such as filet mignon. As a vegetarian option we recommend a mushroom and fig risotto.

    Ruby red color with purple trim. Medium-high aromatic intensity, reminiscent of fruits such as strawberries and plums, as well as subtle notes of cinnamon and cloves. In the mouth, it has balanced acidity, medium body, persistent and soft tannins, and a long finish.
