Vinos nuevos en nuestro portafolio: Jardín de Macul y Gota de Luna

In 2019 we launched three wines that will delight both white and red wine fans. Coming from the oldest plots of our vineyards, the Jardín de Macul collection is here to deliver the most exclusive of our Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. In addition, a magnificent Sauvignon Blanc from the Malleco Valley joins our family.

Jardín de Macul Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the best and oldest block of Cabernet Sauvignon in our Macul vineyards, planted in 1932. At the foot of the Andes Mountains, Macul is characterized by having loamy soil with a small percentage of clay and a strong presence of rocks, delivering a wine of origin full of character.

With notes of menthol, earth, spices and incense, on the palate it is a juicy wine full of ripe fruit, all in a context of smoothness.

Perfect pairing for sumptuous meals based on roasted or stewed red meats. Roasted lamb gigot, Wellington steak, marinated venison and wild boar, hare civet, lamb ragout, goose confit or simply a pepper steak.

Jardín de Macul Merlot comes from the best and oldest block of Merlot in our vineyards, planted around 1981, in Macul, at the foot of the Andes Mountains.

On the palate, its firm tannins and tense texture stand out, while on the nose it contains herbal notes, red fruits, spices and earth.

Perfect for medium-intensity red or white meats, fettuccine bolognese and medium-fermented cheeses. As a vegetarian option, it is an ideal accompaniment to grilled vegetables, vegetable lasagna or pumpkin ravioli with spices.

Moon Drop joins our family from the commune of Traiguén, in the Malleco Valley, where the grapes for this Sauvignon Blanc ripen. This area is characterized by having red, clayey soil, with vineyards that are more than 20 years old, which gave rise to this fresh and elegant wine that matured in small stainless steel tanks.

Pale yellow with greenish edges, the nose is fresh and reminiscent of citrus fruits such as pineapple and lemon, with added herbal notes. The palate is highly acidic and has a sustained finish.

Perfect pairing for seafood ceviche, salmon carpaccio, and seafood dishes. It will also be a good accompaniment to any type of salad.
