The newest addition to our Antiguas Reservas line: Carmenere. This wine maintains the classic style that represents Cousiño Macul, combining the maturity of the New World with the elegance of traditional Old World wines.

It is an ideal wine to accompany medium intensity meals. Corn cake will be an excellent option as a Chilean preparation. It will also go very well with stuffed pasta, such as ravioli. As a vegetarian option, we recommend mushrooms stuffed with cream cheese and chives, gratin with Parmegiano Reggiano cheese.
Our Antiguas Reservas Carménère has an intense, deep and brilliant ruby red color. Its aromas include red fruits, such as cherries and ripe strawberries, mineral notes, spices such as white pepper and green paprika, and slight notes of caramel. In the mouth it has medium tannins, medium acidity, a lot of fruit and minerality is perceived with a pleasant persistence.
