• Gris - Cabernet Sauvignon

    Making a rosé wine from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes is a Bordeaux tradition that Cousiño Macul has followed for many years. "Gris" is an old French word to describe a slight pink tint in grape skins or in the wine. Typically, "Gris" have less color than a Rosé wine.

    Gris is an excellent summer wine, ideal to serve cold. Recommended as an aperitif or to accompany soft cheeses, fruit and preparations such as sushi or salmon carpaccio.

    Bright, pale and light salmon in color. It presents fresh aromas reminiscent of strawberries, tangerine and pink grapefruit. It also gives way to light notes of apricot and jasmine. The apricot is confirmed in the mouth, also noticing some citrus fruits. It maintains a fresh acidity and medium-high persistence.
